The training is for service providers and peers supporting NPS users in Europe.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
Recall the 7 main drug categories that NPS fall in to
Give an overview of relevant NPS substances in Europe
Recall current trends and developments in European NPS markets
Identify current patterns of use of NPS in Europe
Recall current drug patterns and policies in Europe including legal developments and restrictions affecting NPS
Identify barriers and problems in developing effective harm reduction responses targeting people who use drugs heavily in Europe (PUDH)
Recall best practice examples for responding to NPS users
Develop effective harm reduction service responses for NPS users relevant to their client/user group
