From the 2nd to 4th January 2011, over 100 delegates from across the region gathered in Abu Dhabi to attend a seminar, marking the launch of the IDPC/NRC regional drug policy network in the Middle East/North Africa.
The International Harm Reduction Association is seeking a part-time intern for a three-month initial placement in London. The intern’s role is to provide support to two major projects – the Global State of Harm Reduction E-tool and the European Harm Reduction Network (EuroHRN).

The Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN) is seeking an experienced harm reduction specialist for the position of Research and Information Program Manager to work in EHRN's Secretariat in Vilnius, Lithuania. The deadline for applications is 20 January 2011.

This seminar provided the opportunity to share experiences from different countries and encourage new thinking at a time where the Malaysian government has already successfully implemented harm reduction measures and is in the process of scaling these up.
