Almost three months after the Brocher symposium: Equitable Access to Controlled Medicines, the report examines the outcome of this successful event. Discussions revealed the need for and challenges of a truly multidisciplinary debate, and new partnerships are explored. The executive summary of the symposium report reflects briefly what issues emerged from the contributions and discussions.
