Report on the Tenth Biennial Conference on Alcohol, Drugs and Society in Africa

A two day conference meeting was organised by the African Centre for Research and Information on Substance Abuse from the 11th to 12th July 2012, at the Rockview Classic Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria. The Conference’s theme focused on Social Determinants of Substance Abuse in Africa andwas attended by participants from six countries – Austria, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, the United Kingdom and the USA.

The report below is a short summary of the sessions and debates which took place during the conference.
