Médecins du Monde, Treatment Action Group and Sidaction launch a new website
Médecins du Monde, Treatment Action Group and Sidaction are pleased to announce the launch of a new website, www.hepCoalition.org
This new site aims to support the global advocacy effort to improve access to Hepatitis C (HCV) prevention tools, diagnostics, treatment and care in lower- and middle-income countries for those most affected.
The site is conceived as an open platform to promote sharing of information, strategies, educational and advocacy tools, experiences, and other resources for strengthening the access movement. Soon, you will be able to:
• Share and find treatment literacy and advocacy materials such as policy briefs, fact sheets, training manuals, interactive maps, and documented experiences of HCV treatment access stories from around the world.
• Get involved in or support for advocacy actions taking place at the national, regional, and international levels and find out what is going on globally and how to get involved.
• Access materials that will be available in formats easily adaptable to your own local context.
All the materials will be available primarily in 6 languages: English, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, French and Chinese.
Currently the website is hosting the “Washington Call,” a set of principles and demands to increase HCV treatment access, signed by over 50 organizations from around the world. Please take this opportunity to visit the new site and sign on!
We look forward to your input and participation in this collaborative effort as we develop and grow this dynamic global resource. Please get in touch with your ideas!
